Industrialization or ecology? Factory or forests? Our choices and current decisions will bear consequences tomorrow... The Paradisio park (Belgium) wanted to make its visitors aware of such a theme. The park asked Alterface to provide an interactive solution to edutain visitors about it. the collaboration resulted in the innovative "SOS Biodiversity " setup. An immersive device which integrates the players into an interactive environment thanks to Alterface’s Station™ technology, “SOS Biodiversity” allows the visitors to have fun while enquiring about ecology, the benefits and the necessity of it to ensure our future. |

The players in front of the screen are "captured" by the camera and are inlaid in the image. The whole system is managed by Salto™, the interactivity engine.
Station™ is a playful and interactive device which allows visitors to physically act for the protection of nature while having fun: by moving in front of the “SOS Biodiversity” screen, they learn to move in their daily life and to act in favor of the environment. Far beyond speeches, the action triggers the reaction and improves learning... Station™ is the ideal device to deliver a message and make the impact of daily acts understood.
