Foolish Dragon Adventure !
Pasadena-based design company the Hettema’s Group was assigned a difficult mission for Korea’s number one indoor park Lotte World: to design a very sophisticated, super compact and very high-capacity attraction suitable for the entire family.
They selected Alterface’s Salto TM technology as it was the only one on the market capable of making this ride completely interactive. As part of a large team featuring the best theme creators, engineers, media maker and vehicle provider in the industry, Alterface enjoyed this incredibly fun and playful mixed media interactive dark ride. Players visit a castle invaded by foolish dragons, with interactivity on screens, in the scenery, and even with animatronics reacting on the action of the players.
This ride is a major step away from the typical applications featuring clearly identified targets. In Dragons Wild Shooting, the targets are invisible and players of all ages take great pleasure in searching them. Eventually this results in ever increasing scores and repeat visits!
Since opening day, this cutting-edge adventure has become one of the highest rated attractions in Lotte World. Visitor numbers and sales of merchandise based on the silly dragons quickly increased.

"I really love the mix of the screens with the physical sets"
"By hitting targets within the ride, passengers can trigger a variety of effects including air-blasting ‘firework dragons’, exploding powder kegs and eyebrow-scorching heat blasts. The combination of effects vary from ride to ride, ensuring Dragons Wild Shooting offers a personalized experience that encourages guests to ride again and again."
